D#7 HW#5 Reading Purposefully or Rhetorically?

Well, I can honestly say that most of what I have read in the past couple days have been rhetorical readings. I had an application to finish for my Statistics Lab so I had to find reputable, credible stats to fit into my project so my audience (classmates who will see my presentation as well as my professor) would be informed on the data that I collected. So, I did consciously have this goal in mind when reading articles pertaining to my sample question. I also paid lots of attention to the rhetorical elements because the information needed to educate my audience and myself. I think I'm understanding the rhetorical situation for this lab assignment so it was easier to skim through the websites and if the information didn't somewhat answer my question then it wasn't going to be purposeful or useful in my rhetorical situation. Unfortunately, I haven't read anything for this class but from past experiences and deadlines it seems like it has been mostly purposeful reading so I decided not to further read some articles because they couldn't answer my research question.
