I’m understanding how to cite the works that I’m finding a little bit better, it seems like it’s different for every article even if it’s in the same genre or category. I did find it very useful to review and post comments on my classmates’ HW#11 as it seemed like they knew what they were doing more than I know what I’m doing. I’m slowly working towards the course competencies but it’s hard when I don’t have anyone to ask and get an immediate answer, but that’s the life on the online class! So I hope that I can make something out of all this overwhelming information that I’m accumulating haha … as for my personal goals, I’m slowly working on that as well. Everything seems to be coming together in my personal life as well as this course so that’s a good feeling. I’m not too good at gathering the information/research first and then putting it all together; I would rather write my paper based on the knowledge that I already know and then find the research to fit my final paper and if I happen to find additional research that makes it better than that’s a bonus! It’s less stressful for me and it doesn’t seem to overwhelm me as much as this process for this class. But I’m up for the challenge and learning a new way to conduct research.
