D#6 HW#4 Should You Conduct Primary or Secondary Research

I think that both of these methods of research will compliment each other for my topic. Both types will educate my audience on the direct effects of the casino on native and non-native communities alike. Some people may want to know that their money spent at a casino goes back into their own community through the slot profits paid to the state by tribes. I think my audience will value both types as they will give specific information that will compliment the other so both of them put together will be more convincing research. To answer my topic question thoroughly I’m going to need statistics to compare pre-casino to the present state. I have access to plenty of resources regarding this topic so it shouldn’t be a problem finding the right information. The challenge will be picking and choosing which information to put into my final paper. If I have any problems trying to locate information I will ask the people who work at the library to point me in the right direction. Hopefully I won’t get too far off track here!
