D#6 HW#9 Editing Strategies

I went to the first 2 choices to read about proofreading my paper. I do read aloud and in a sarcastic tone when reading over my paper. I know it sounds really stupid to read it sarcastically but it really does help me. I also imagine myself in front of a lot of people. I also take a pencil and circle words or parts of my paper that don’t seem right to me so I can go over them again and again until I figure out how to fix it. The only thing with my paper is that I need to add more examples but I’m really unsure of what those are at this point. I have asked a couple people to read my paper and they said that it was good, they didn’t offer any additional advice so I’m hoping that my mistakes will be minor. So all in all I like the tips that these websites provided because a few of them I have been doing since high school. That makes me feel like I’m doing something right!
