1) Who really benefits from the casinos?
What happens to the communities surrounding the casinos?
When do casinos help the non-native people who live near them?
Where does the tribe get funding to build these casinos?
How can tribes build casinos off of the reservation?
Why should tribes be allowed to build casinos in the first place?
Should all tribes be allowed to build casinos?
Would casino operations threaten tribal sovereignty?
2) I want to share this information and I am defining the reasons behind the need for tribes to generate major capital by building casinos. I will also be comparing and contrasting how each tribe is different in how they operate their casinos.
3) I am writing to an audience that may be gamblers. Maybe they show their support by putting a few bucks into the slot machines. Maybe after reading my research paper they will know where their money goes and how it benefits tribal community.
4) I could write on any of these questions but with the information that I found earlier today I would focus on the “why”, “should”, and “would” questions.
5) I think that these questions could all work together in my final paper. They can each be answered with tribal sovereignty and the final question actually asks about sovereignty.
